Any chance that you could have a look at this chunky seal which came out on a recent club dig in East Kent. It has the remains of at least one wire through it so I presume that it is a bag seal of some sort. It looks 19th or 20thC to me.
The raised script seems to be SF on one side with a squiggle across the top and some symbols on the other side. I suspect that it it might be a locally produced one so I'm not really expecting it to be pinned down precisely but it would be helpful to know if you've seen anything remotely like it.
