Hi All,
I'm Steve from Somerset, pretty new to detecting and only joined the Hub last week. Got out for a few hours today only found £3:80 in modern coinage, a tiny Tom back button and this which appears to be bronze, it was suspended at one time from the top with what remains of an iron pin, it is identical on both sides. I was thinking of an old horse brass type thing that would have gone above the horses head?
Would appreciate any feedback!
Many thanks

Nice find. Guessing it would have been mounted in a ring like this replica http://www.heavyhorseenthusiast.co.uk/h ... heatsheaf/
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking
