The Hammies are hiding away from me no matter which way i walk i cannot seem to walk over them :lol: A few bits and bobs today the best of which is a little Saxon Zoomorphic strap end :thumbsup:

Interesting finds :thumbsup: The button looks like it is cast with a drilled hole in the fixing at the back which points to a date of around 17th century. Might be a bit later but not by much. Great find.

That's the second such strap end to grace these pages recently. Absolutely gorge :thumbsup:

Just one cornetto :lol: I had a strap end the other week same field but it was well passed its best :thumbdown:
