Is there iron in some of the protrusions ? Never seen anything like it before
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

First thing that came to mind was a caltrop but it's a bit blunt for that :D

Yes there is some iron in the protrusions which is strange 🤔 the rest is lead….. it reminds me of willy wonka’s everlasting gobstopper 🤣

I thought caltrops aswell when I saw the iron going through it but it doesn’t sit perfectly upright when on the ground so would have little effect 🤔 the mystery continues….🤣

I once found something like this with 6 protrusions but there were seals on the end of each. Hope it helps.

It reminds me of an oversized playing piece from game of 'Jacks'.

If there's a core of iron in the centre of each projection, it's likely a 'junction' for lengths of wire (barrier/fencing).

I've attached a photo of the modern iteration.

I'd be dead happy if I found one. I love that kind of thing.

I’ve got 9 more to find and I could use them for that purpose 🤣 I think I might struggle to get to the end and grab all ten though 🤣
