Lead is pretty bomb proof so you don’t need to do anything that special. Just store it somewhere it won’t get scratched and knocked and apart from that don’t worry too much. Wrap in a padded material, put in a perforated plastic bag and then store in a plastic container in dry conditions, with silica gel packs if you have any.

According to the Portable Antiquities Scheme…

Organic packing and boxes such as wood, cardboard, or newspaper can cause corrosion, especially for lead finds, and should be avoided.
