Can anyone please identify the attached.
I imagine it was like a small Jews harp before one leg was damaged.
It has a sharp point on the remaining leg and has a mark on the diameter where something was attached.
It is about 25mm across.
It is very simple, but I would love to know what it could be.
This is the first time i have used this website.

Looks like it could be a broken buckle. I can see where the pin may have been?

It looks like a buckle where a strap has worn through the frame and bent it due to tension. The notches are where the pin would have rested.

I would have thought it was a drop handle with the two pointy ends (now bent) going into metal loops to hold them in place on a chest or other piece of furniture
