Welcome to the club.
A real bugger they are not in the same hole as EOD only deal with what you’ve found and not what might still be there. They don’t go searching.

Any chance they are training rounds.

Hope they sort it quickly!

How many do you have to find before it's classed as a hoard?

Any footpaths etc nearby as you’ll need the police to block them off if they do a controlled explosion. Hopefully EOD will cart them away but you may have too much so they’ll blow them up.
Trouble is you won’t know you’ve got them all - maybe time to put that area off limits.

I will try to record the bang, phones nearly flat, lucky had charger lead so at 18% at present

Just waiting on the EOD

IF they were so "extremely busy" that they were unable to come out to five mortar rounds maybe you should have been public spirited and saved them some time and taken them to the police station and left them on the counter. If you had I very strongly suspect that their priorities would have changed and that some of the workload that meant that they were so "extremely busy" would have been less important than the 5 mortar rounds sat in front of them.
