Second trip out this week, due to a couple of days off.
Heavy frost but the sun came out on the 2nd field, i had not been on since September. South facing and the sun was strong.
Not much in the way of finds.

Frost was still coating the grass white, near the hedge when we left.
Cheers,
Dave.

When I went out on Wednesday I went fully wrapped up and toasty. An hour in and I had to remove two layers before replacing them again as it got towards dusk. That sun is warm but as soon as you get in the shade it’s freezing :D

Glad you had a nice day out
chill…karma will fix it

Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

"At least it was warm"   Where were you?

I had a short session late yesterday afternoon, and as I arrived and got out of the car the farmer shouted across to say "You are brave in this weather, it is the coldest day of the winter".

I soon agreed with him!.

Where the sun had not reached there was still a good covering of frost. Additionally all the puddles still had ice on them from where it had not melted from Thursday night.

My finds were the same standard as Dave's but if I had posted them the title would have been "And it was Freezing!".
