Plate and maybe awl

Went on new permission for couple hours today. Dose anyone have idea on them not sure if the needle thing is a awl and the metal plate still has some thread must been stitched to something.

The awl doesn't really look right for being ancient. From what I can see at the moment I reckon more likely a nail with the head missing. :D

😂 deffo not a nail I got loads of medieval nails etc they are square this is tapered into a point not best pic to be fair but even I can tell it's not nail its bronze but would bend if you tried to hit that into wood

what would you say was ancient looking because I found axheads with bronze disease they look ancient and I also found a socketed spearhead what looks like it just came out a shop didnt look ancient but it was didn't have no patina and razor sharp

Any signs of a break at the "top" end? I am wondering if it is a fragment of some sort of BA implement????

The other thing looks like machine stamped brass to me, a technique only invented in the late 18thC. It might be the mesh insert from a potpouri or similar box? :D
