That's a value judgement, which has nothing to do with anything other than your opinion.

Pilgrim ampules were 'tat'. Doesn't mean they have no historical significance.

It looks very much like a Guardian angel ring to me.

I can see some cracks in the 'stone' but you haven't said what it seems to be made of or how it's mounted and there are no pictures of the back. If the cameo is glass and properly mounted it might be late Georgian but otherwise it could be anything up to late 20thC and the 'cameo' might even be some sort of moulded plastic. :thumbsup:

The rings that aren’t made of precious metals are often overlooked or dismissed but I like them. Mind you a gold ring is still very, very high up my wish list too :D I like that ring :thumbsup:

It looks what I would generally call a cheap ring which would quite likely have once been gilded. I find a few but that cameo makes a nice change, is it plastic? :Thinking:
