Help with ID please

Hi all,
Found this artefact on a beach local to me in a clay layer, gave it a small clean and can’t figure out what it is, is 3cm tall, 1.5cm wide and around 2cm deep, weighs 9g and does have some patches of green oxidisation on it, most likely nothing, but thought you lovely lot might have an idea as to if it’s anything of significance,

That is part of a Roman brooch. As I’m not a Roman brooch expert you might need to wait for more help on the details. I think it might be a trumpet one but don’t trust a word I say :lol:
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

Thanks for the reply, Had a funny feeling about it for sure 😂 bearing in mind I only had 3 signals that weren’t iron nails in 3 hours I’m ecstatic to say the least 😁 my first time trying any sort of beach detecting, chuffed to bits

Similar guess and similar warning as Oxgirl. :D I'm always chuffed to find anything Roman on beaches. :thumbsup:
