Evening all.

I’ve only recently found this forum exists so thought I’d hop on and ask if anyone would kindly be able to identify this I found.

It’s got a sort of ridged striped decoration on the top. I’m not suggesting it’s Roman but it’s come from a well known Roman era part of South Wales.

I had one of those recently. A post-medieval horse harness thingy. Made of something like gun metal.
