Hi all,

Managed another hour today in the drizzle and found a few bits, including a lovely little buckle, a drawer handle back plate, and what I think is maybe a stylus? It doesn’t appear to be snapped or broken anywhere so it’s the only thing I can think of.

Not very exciting as I have so many, but another little rose farthing in very good condition (the pictures don’t do it justice).

Cheers,
Will

Great buckle  The buckle pin is a good sign of earlier occupation though as they are normally dated to 14th century or earlier. Rose farthings are very hard to photograph well. I have found quite a few and the nice ones never look as good on camera as they do in real life. Nice finds
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

Excellent, thanks Cath, I’ll be sure to head back there ASAP and see what else I can find!
